Ulyana Harinova is 30 years old. She was born and raised in Russia, in the small town of Kirov. She is married and has three children – two girls and a boy. Her main model and muse is her oldest daughter Diana. When inspiration hits, primarily her daughter is the one who suffers from her ideas. Children, nature, music, attitude, movie – life inspires Uliana very much! In photography she wants to express something unusual, something about children and flowers. Once again, victim of her inspiration once again was her oldest daughter Diana. Ulyana Harinova want to show the beauty of children. She often goes out to the countryside, 50-100 km away from her home. She explores and enjoys corners of nature, away from people where it is so peaceful and quiet. She finds it very inspiring!
Uliana likes the work of Russian photographer Elena Gromova-Kalminskaya. She loves Portraits and Fine Art by photographer Paul Apalkina and Elliott Erwitt, she loves Victoria Ivanova still life photographs. She is inspired with photographs of different authors who ‘re specialized in different fields.
“i wish you creative flight, the wildest imagination and inspiration. Shoot what you love. Believe in yourself!”
Ulyana Harinova photographs from 2012, that’s when she took her first SLR camera and took her first photographs. Nobody is fond of photography in her family, she does not even know how to develop film in the red room. She hopes to try it soon! She started studying at one of the online photography school in Russia, but passed only 1 homework. After that she started studying on her own: she watched and studied countless photographs, photographed a lot and discarded over 1000 photographs, she read a lot about photography.
She likes to look at photograph for a long time and disassemble, analyze the work she likes. As they say, she got hooked! This turned out to be her “formal photographic education”. Uliana Kharinova is always open for development, improvement. Uliana attended the creative workshop summer studying at the creative workshop (Marusina Workshop) and found it great!
Uliana photographs with Canon 5D Mark II and I use lenses: Canon 85 1.2 A and 1.4 A Canon 35. There is an old Soviet Helios 44 2-M, but she took it off not long time ago. She converts her photos into Lightroom and final color correction or transfer to black and white variants she does in Photoshop. Photography is only a my small income for Uliana.
